I just purchased an Oday 22 and was wondering what the hose coming from in front of the v-berth is for? Also, does anyone know where I can get a trailor for this boat. She has a fixed keel. Thanks!

Water hose

The hose goes to the 5 gal water bottle you should have gotten with your boat. If you didn't get it then you can get one from WM for $10 -$15. The other end of the hose goes under the deck down the port side and to the sink. You didn't say how old the boat was but while you are at the store you might want to replace the hose also.

Thank you

Thanks for your response. It is a 1975 so your probably right about replacing the hose also. Thanks again and I may have questions in the future.

Trailer For O'Day 22

I have had my O'Day 22 for 29 years. Its still on the orginal trailer! I use the trailer only to drag the boat 4 miles to the launch and retrieve it in the fall. I never exceed 25 mph and use automotive compact spare tires! The trailer is not galvanized and as result I have had to spend upwards of $1000 to reweld and etc. Still its been cheaper to repair rather than replace. I don't know that you will find a new "ready-made" trailer for your boat. I suggest you shop the boat dealers in your area and look for a good used galvanized trailer with at least a 2800 to 3000 lbs. capacity. Then find a local small welding shop, they should be able to fabricate the necessary supports. I have taken measurments "off" my trailer & would be glad to send you a copy. Contact me at skyking22@aopa.net Good Luck!

Trailer for ODay 22

I purchased a trailer for my 73 Oday22 with fixed keel from Coastline Trailers in Falmouth, MA. It's a Loadrite single axle bunk type designed to fit the boat with minor adjustment. Not cheap $2000 but it will pay for itself in 3 years.
