Hood roller furler on Hunter 29.5 no longer winds on the drum from top to bottom, etc. ,so I'm getting lots of overrides What part do I need to replace to correct this problem or is there another solution to try.

Make sure the exposed halyard is minimal. You may have to lengthen the lead at the drum.

Check the angle of the furling line. It should be at 90° to the drum. Sometimes the last block shifts a little and it no longer aligns correctly.

Sounds like an alignment problem as @dlochner said. Did something change in the geometry?

Would a tired and stiff furling line cause something like this?
