I wanted to check on the furler upgrade for my 1988 cat 30 TRBS so I called Pompanette (Hood furler) today to inquire about the LD furler upgrade to the SL. I was told they no longer do the upgrade, but provide their Sea Furl 707SL (complete system) at a reduced price. Their price was $800 plus for the full system. Has anyone done the 707SL change on a 30 TRBS recently, and are they happy with it. I am concerned about the length of the forestay, and if the 707SL will fit.
