Hood furling informaiton LD-810

I am trying to find a web site or information on how to contact Hood makers of the LD-810 furling system.I would like to find parts to change from the line drive to a single drum. Has anyone made this change? If yes can you give detailslike what parts are needed and any other information that would be helpful.Thanks Richard Riisbergr@voyager.net

Richard,In addition to this FAQ (related link), you may want to contact Pompanette,LLC at:http://www.pompanette.com/hoodThey seem to be one of the major Hood furler carriers in the US. Check their "Tech Tips". You'll find information there on upgrading from an LD to an SL by replacing the drive unit assembly.From what I read, it appears the LD is a furler only. It's not to be used for reefing. The SL can reef.Happy sails _/),MArk
