The Hood 810 roller furler is now very slow and stiff on my 1990 Hunter 30. The furler drum is mounted below deck level in the fwd-most corner of the anchor locker on this boat. *Very* hard to work on.Hood sez squirt WD-40 onto the bearings, but to do that almost a complete disassembly of the drum is required. *Lots* of work! They say that's the only way to be sure to get the WD-40 to the bearing races.Does anyone have any experience with this setup that might shortcut the removal of the jib and disassembly? Like maybe just squirting a hefty dose of WD-40 into the housing around the bearings or the hole in that housing. . .up from the bottom of the drum (without disassembly)or down from the top end of the drum in some way that won't make the furl line sheave and stripper all slippery (baaad idea!)
