Well in my ongoing quest to get my honda 9.9hp outboard running, I've decided to take the carb apart and try to clean it by soaking it in claner. There are a couple of plastic parts which I'm afraid to immerse though.. Anyone have any advice or info on this? either whether it's safe to put these parts in the carb cleaner bath, or if there's an easy way to remove them?
