Factory stern rail seats are recessed out into the stern rail. If you do not contemplate a new custom made stern rail you will need to mout them inboard. This location does not really gain you any space, it just raises the seat. On a small boat with a bimini top you need to make sure there would be head room to use them. I priced a them one time at a boat show and the price for a proffesionally manufactured set with all the fittings was very reasonable and I believe you can find them in this Forum's store.

Stern seats

In order to install the seats you either need to have aluminum plates already glassed in place on the inside of the hull or you will need to do that yourself. When I ordered the stern seats for my Hunter 26, Hunter asked me for the manufacturing number because they started glassing aluminum plates in the proper locations for the seat attach points at a certain date. Luckily mine had the plates installed so it was a matter of drilling and tapping. I would call Hunter and find out if yours has the plates. I can tell you that even though the seats were made by Hunter, there were lots of adjustments that had to be made to make them fit, not a surprise when you are trying to match large stainless steel pieces and a 10 yearr old fiberglass boat.
