Crossing L. Michigan from Wisconsin early May. Any marina or anchorage suggestions? Also, has anyone been tot his? Any insights on food or fun?

Michigan City, IN marina. Very nice marina, mall, park, beach, children's zoo all within walking distance. Casino a short hop away.

I'm sorry everyone, my post wasn't very clear. I'm asking specifically about Holland, MI area during the Tulip Festival.

You need to stay at Alleens Shipyard.
Nearest as you enter the harbor on the south side. Must go to their restaurant "the Piper".
As we were warned "pricy" but worth every dollar
Me reservations early as it will fill on weekends.
The bad part is that it is a 15 minute cab ride to downtown.
Important side note - almost every shop is closed on Sundays. The Dutch don't work on Sunday
We did it 1st week in June last year coming from Racine
