Odorlos

The solution to tank odors is oxygen. It's the bacteria that live in oxygen starved water that stink. Odorlos and similar products supply the oxygen to eliminate odors. It's really that simple, and it has worked for 14 years on the portapotty on our '77 h27. Good ventilation could do the job, but it is quite difficult to move enough air into the tank with a vent.

Second vote for Odorlos. Been using it for years with very good results.

Been using K.O. for several years and no smell. Odorloss is also a very good product which should give you the same result.

Odorlos to feed your aerobic bacteria, and NO bleach, "disinfectants", formaldehyde treatments. You are operating an aerobic bio-reactor.

It is amazing what white vinegar can do when you flush some down.
Dave, what's the scoop with white vinegar, more info and how does it work? I have a 79 O'day 22 and a port-a-potty. I will be new to cruising and how to take care of the crap problem. I will be sailing in the Charlotte Harbor area this spring. If anyone thinks of other past post please mention it/them.
