Scott, I have a '92 hunter 30. My tank went to the dump last year. When I took it out it had 2 weep holes in it! Talk about dodging a bullit! Those old aluminum tanks are time bombs! The 30 may have the same size tank as yours? Is it in the aft port locker? If so, email me, I have lots of pictures and info sources. bzimme@verizon.net. Good luck.

There is access through the aft port locker

The location of the tank is right on the centerline, aft of the rudder post. It sits under the stern boarding step. Best access is from the aft port cockpit locker. The starboard side is a mishmash of head hoses, exhaust hose, vent hoses, Y valve and manual bilge pump. Did you have to cut your tank up to get it out? How was it secured and what did you use to secure the new one?

Slightly different?

Scott, On a 30T, Mine was to the left of the rudder in the port locker, down 2 "flights" of hatch covers. Keep at it, you'll find a way. Good luck
