Replacing Holding Tank on a Hunter 37.5 To remove the tank we had to hacksaw the fittings off, removal took about 1 hour. Now we had to find a replacement tank, so we called Hunter, they said it would take about 4-5 weeks to get a aluminum replacement tank, of course we would never use aluminum for waste, so we got onto sailboatowners.com and found Ronco Plastics. I faxed the location for the fittings to Rich at Ronco on Tuesday and received the new tank on Wednesday. Now that’s service !!, and the price was so low that I tried to convince Rich to charge me more, but instead he gave me a discount. If you are in need of a tank, I highly recommend calling Rich (714-259-1385). The replacement took about 3 hours, with most of the time spent on hookup.

Ronco Plastics

You forgot to tell 'em that Ronco has more than 400 shapes and sizes, over 100 of which are non-rectangular. You didn't have to go to sailnet to find 'em...Ronco's prob'ly supplied half the tank replacements on this board! Top quality tanks, reasonable prices, great people to work with. That's why I included the link to their website in the article "Installing a Head and Holding Tank" in the Head MIstress forum Reference Library. I've also included it here. We keep telling folks they can find all the information they need right here...and it's true!
