Holding tank - odd shape

Peg, I have an odd shape holding tank that came with my 1988 Hunter Legend 35. Right at the pump out flange at the bottom of the tank a crack of about 3 inches leads into the bottom of the tank its self. Leaks a little bit and as I understand it there is no filler or caulking that will repair such a leak in this highly specialized plastic material. I have measured the tank and have the dimensions. Is there an easy way to find a replacemnt - as to not having to wade through the long list of tanks available at Ronco ?? I'm betting that Hunter ordered a bunch of these tanks in 1988 and that the part number is on file some place. If all else fails I guess I will have to have it made special order. Any guidance would be appreciated. RD

If it's plastic, it was prob'ly made by

DuraCast...which is not the same company that makes Hunter's plastic tanks now...that's DuraWeld...but one or the other will have the mold. Call Hunter...they'll tell you which one. When you order the tank, spend a little more and specify a 3/8" wall.
