Our Hunter 260 holding tank does not have a a gauge to tell when full. Up to now we've been crawing back there with a flashlight to try and figure out how full it is. (We don't use the "blue stuff" so it's really hard to see the level. What is this Acu-gauge tape that I just read about here? What are the simplest ways to install a gauge?

The AcuGage has been discussed here in great detail several times. In a nutshell, it's wire in foil tape that adheres to the outside of the tank--a wire on each side. It works by measuring the resistance.between the two wires...sort of like bouncing a signal off a satellite and back again. LED panel shows the level in the tank. Works on any surface except metal and you can put up to 4 tanks on a single system. Easy to install if you can get to the outside of your tank. WM Marine has it (although the photo in the catalog is a SeaLand TankWatch III...ooops) as the "Snake River" (mfr's name) gauge for about $139.
