Holding tank, CUSTOM-built experience?

If anyone has experience in purchasing a CUSTOM-built holding tank from a company, would you please tell us who built it and any positives/negatives? I have a stock replacement Ronco tank (#B227) for my Hunter 37.5, and it's a very nice product and a bargain to boot. Regular readers of this site know the virtues of these tanks thanks to Peggy's recommendations. However, even though it is the closest stock tank Ronco had to replace my original aluminum one, it is smaller than the original (20 gal vs. 25 gals) and of marginal capacity on a boat this size. Ronco will build a custom tank, but for $600 for the mold in addition to the cost of the tank. There are references in the archives to C. C. Tech and DuraWeld. Anyone actually use these companies, or others, for a custom tank based on your measurements; if so, what price, features (wall thickness etc) and satisfaction level?

I have a better idea

Install a Lectra/San. Your boat should have the power resources to handle it...legal everywhere on the Bay except for two VERY small "no discharge" zones....and once the "Saxton Bill" passes, will be legal in those too.

Brian, How did you remove and install your tanks?

The space looks pretty tight on the 375.
