It appears that an email has been sent to some of you with the subject "hjwjhasjhaw Attached Document."

It is not from us -- the "from" address is forged -- and should be deleted immediately.

Whatever you do, DO NOT click on the attachment. It claims to be a pdf but I'd bet anything it's got a virus payload.

So far, it looks like the email addresses I can confirm as recipients have been publicly posted in the forums at one time or another. Once they're in the forum it's very easy to harvest them with a $30 app.

This is one reason why you should never, ever put your email address in a forum post.

We're continuing to look into this and I'll report back later if we find anything new.

I got it and deleted it/marked it as spam in about 2 seconds. Typical can't spell or speak English scammer...

Oh and don't just delete it mark it as spam in gmail or yahoo mail etc.....
