Hitching a Ride to the Rendezvous

Laura and I have decided to try to attend the VEGAtarian Rendezvous at
Port Browning but we will need a little help. We'd like to crew for
someone sailing over from the American side. We'll take care of
accommodations at Port Browning but we need a ride to and from.

Gene and Trish Suess and Jim and Gloria Elder have helped us in the
past but Gene sold Lorna Doone and Jim and Gloria have told us that
they can't make it this year. Since my boss won't give me the two
months I'd need for the round trip, we'll have to fly in and and beg a
ride from one of our friends.

Hi Chuck

I just shared a Vega for the IFR trip and had a great time sailing from
Copenhagan to Eckenforde and back. Teh Danish Islands are beautiful but
need some careful pilotage. Hope you find a berth for the two of you.
