Thanks for posting that link. If you look at the last picture of Ford Island in 2013 and follow the bridge at the far end of the island back to the mainland you can see rainbow marina. If you look hard you can see our boat which is clear on the outside on the bridge side of Charlie dock. That is the view we look at when we are in HI living on the boat. We will be there next Tuesday wearing nothing but shorts, slippers and a T-shirt. My Father spent WWII on Ford Island he arrived late Feb 1942 so he saw all carnage left after the attack and all the cleanup.

Jim,

Small world huh?

Is that with your stick in front of the beige colored 6-8 story building?

Well there you have it, your fifteen minutes of FAME.

If you read the story of the couple that kidnapped their children & sailed to Cuba last year, my boat is in the picture that was on the front page. Funny, as my boat maroon colored name TIEKILI doesn't show up, it's next to the blue Morgan. Someone took this before the parents tied up the grandmother & took the kids. I

I used to fly a small pirate flag at the dock but, some PIRATE stole it.

Have fun next week pal, I think I hate you..............HA HA

For years I thought USS Arizona was still in commission as a tribute to those killed. Searching the web some sites say it is still in commission and others say it is decommissioned. Wanting an affirmative answer I referred to the list of active US Navy ships and she was not listed. Referring to another US Navy decommissioned list she is listed as decommissioned. Arizona is however designated an active military cemetery.

Thanks for sharing those poignant pictures.
