Hello Hunters

I have a Hunter 326. I tiped my Hunter at 25 degree and she was still holding. Does any body got experience of tipping over 25 degree ? If yes, I would like to hear some stories.

All the time in good wind. When it gets above 40-45 or so it will head up into the wind. You should test your boat out so you will know how to handle it in higher winds. For best speed you should keep the heel down to 20 or so but if you want some fun, see what it will do.

Had had the rail in the water a couple of times. (35 degrees or) so. It's fun but slow. I try to balance out at no more than 15 with gusts taking me to 20. Reef the main early, use the main for balance and keep the 135 genoa out all the way is what works for me.

Many ocassion I sailed my 326 to 35deg heeling. See my avatar. No problem of broaching. She won't go fast this way unless reef down but still its ok. A slight gust would round her up so be prepare to spill the Mains. Make sure you bring up your traveller all the way to windward so that you have enough scope to spill wind when need arise.
