Does anyone out there know which older Hunters have a hidden compression post like the ones in the 2007 Hunter 33? By this, I mean the post sits forward and is in the v-berth. I am not neccessarily looking for a 33, but anything gently preowned with this feature. Thanks.

In the 1988 33.5 (really a 333) the comp post is "hidden" in the head. It's boxed in with teak but pretty easy to access by removing some screws.

but it's 'hidden the same way that Steve O. described. I haven't checked the condition of my compression post, but one of these days I'm going to very carefully saw off a piece of the teak about 4" up from the bottom and then screw it back on - an inspection port of sorts.
