the Stockton Sailing Club? We were in SAC last week visiting the Penneys (great hosts) who have a Vision 32 'Reminiscing'. (We became friends though HOW.) We took a short motor about the river and had a tour of the facilities. Great club, looks active, and the conveniences are nice. Bigger boating on the river than I'd realized. Rick Dinon

no, those guys are a bunch of a.....

absolutely nice guys. We are too far away from them to be a member. Our boat is about 4-5 hours from their facility. We had our boat there back in the early 80's. We move out of there because they had a criminal problem in the adjacent park (now closed after dark). They have a really cool facility. The other reason we moved is because of the lack of wind during the summer. When you do get wind you need to tack up the river and then it's a dead run home. Our new facility is also a 'sailboats only' marina but we are in a very wind prone area (too much wind quite often 25-40mph is common).Our marina is just about 1.5-2 miles north of Rio Vista.
