Skipper (Eric)
Hey Guys, I have a photo to show you of my hunter 27...1979. I purchased her up at Port Clinton, Ohio (Lake Erie). But I needed to work on her. And driving from South East Ohio up to Lake Erie every time I wanted to work on her was out of the question. So, I took a chance. I decided to buy a 5,800 lb. capacity flat bed trailer. I know the Hunter 27 weighs 7,000 lbs. But I figured every trailer is rated lower than what it can actually carry. Any way, I talked to a bunch of mechanics, tire repair people and even several marina people that do this sort of thing all the time. After I got a pretty good idea that this could be done, I went for it! So, after hauling this puppy at 34-45 miles per hour the hole way home, I now have my yacht in front of my house to work on! I would have never gotten so much done to her if I did not make this move. Also, now I can store her for 15 bucks a month on the off season. Well, let me see if this photo thing works. If it doesn't, I will try to post a link in the next message. Shoot, they want me to shink this photo down so small that you will not even see it by the time I am done! Here, let me give you a link.....The link is posted in the link section of this message. Please go take a look at her. I am very proud of all the work I have done thus far! She was so dirty, I did not think she would ever come clean. But she sure did clean up nice! Just like brand new! Bye the way, this link is to the message board to my web site! It is a very fun place to go if you have some spare time! Check it out!!!!!
