any body out there i lost my helm seat on my beneteau 281 in some strong wind,of course they do not make it any more.first anyone have or know where i can get spec's or pictures of seat and is there a used parts on line for this issue

Beneteau does not make it anymore but do they still have the specs and drawings ? If so can they supply them to you. A good fiberglass man could make it from there. I would also check the internet for salvage yards and give them a call. Maybe they have a 281 lost through a hurricane and the seat is available. Finally, the Bénéteau dealer in your area might provide the names of a few 281 owners and you could get the specs. If real lucky, the owner could let you borrow the seat to have a fibreglass guy reproduce it.
