Help with the plastic trim around the hull?

I have a Catina 27 and the hard plastic trim piece that goes all the way around the hull. The plastic trim came out of the metal bracket that holds it and we can't seem to get it back into the bracket. Is there some kind of witch craft that needs to happen here? Please help!! --Blair

Simple fix to trim

A small area on mine came out so I took a hair dryer to it and gently pushed it back into the groove with a flat head screw driver as it warmed up. Be careful and apply pressure gently so not to damage the plastic. From experience this works on small areas but I would call Catalina if it's the whole boat! Also, do not try this unless the boat is out of the water.
