My compass on my Catalina 25 needs fluid added. What do I use? Is this possible?

If it is a Ritchie compass....

.....you can send it in to be repaired. See their web site for instructions. I have done this with 2 boats. Cost is approx. $100

Possible Yes

It is possible to add more fluid, though you need to make sure all air is out. I tried in the past, but was never able to totally bleed all the air out so gave up and took it in to be done by a professional, found out the compass was covered by warrenty (leaking seal) and it cost me not a cent.
