I just recently chipped my deck down to fiberglass and also noticed a place where slight bubble is coming up around crack. Both of these places are on the deck with the non skid diamond cuts. I know how to repair on smooth fiberglass, but can anyone give advice on how to repair on the diamond cuts. What type of material should I use and should I repaint, because the skids are different color than smooth.

Repairing diamond tread sections of a deck can be challenging if you want it to look good. You really have about three choices if you're dealing with a large area.

You may be able to order a "skin" from Hunter Marine. Basically a thin section of the top layer of the deck that is then epoxied and fared into the section that has been removed.

Repair with matching gelcoat using a rubber pattern over the top to press into the wet gelcoat the diamond pattern. These can be found online but are boat and model specific.

Make your own pattern off a section of unaffected deck and treat as above.

All of these options require a fair bit of skill and experience to do properly so you might be best off finding a good gelcoat specialist in your area and have them do it even if it's just a small chip.
