I have Raytheon autohelm ST4000 for my wheelon myHUNTER31. However the first time I went to use it this season it's not turning the wheel. I have power to the unit, but when I press auto and the lever on the wheel is engaged nothing happens. The alarm goes off. Also just pressing +10/-10 does not effect the wheel as well. Any suggestions as to what could be the problem. All connections are tight.

Call Raytheon

I had a similar problem at the end of last season where my unit would work for 15 minutes and then stop working and not hold the course. I called Raytheon ans then mailed it directly to them for repairs. There was a short in the controller. It cost about $65 to get it fixed. Check their web site or contact the person below, whom I dealt with. It took about 3 weeks. Good Luck! Try this guy: Stephen_A_Tenney@rmc.raytheon.com

Try this

You don't say if the motor is making any noise when you engage the helm. If it and the motor plu is engaded corrctly you ahve an eletrical fault which may be need pro. service. If the motor can be heard turning then you probably have a broken belt which is a fairly easy fix with a kit from your local Raytheon dealer.
