There was also a post from s/v C-Time who replaced his pads. Unfortunately I not able to find that post. Perhaps you'll have better luck.
I have a H410,2002. The wheel brake does little ie will not tighen / hold the wheel. Last year I contacted Edsonr and purchased the replacement pads ( and I seem to recall they also suggested replacing a bearing set while it was all open). They also sent the replacement instructions.I intended to do the job myself. Never really got started. After a coouple hours of dismatling items I gave up. The get to the pads you will need to get to the bottom bearings, remove the steering shaft etc. Decided to live without the wheel brake. I spoke to Rick Cowan at Edson and the work instruction bulletin is number EB 398-99 CDi 470 Brake Replacement.PDF. I've tried attaching a copy, if it doesn't post properly let me know and I'll email a copy.
