I just bought a 2005 Catalina and when I pulled the boat out and started cleaning the prop I noticed some cracks. Long story short the prop is a 13" diameter by 11 pitch 3 blade. It also is a 1990 don't ask me cuz I don't know how that could happen. What I would like to do is put on a new 3 blade fixed prop before I put it in the water. On my sea trial it seemed like the boat didn't have problems reaching 3000 RPMs, but I am not sure if that is the proper size for the boat. Any 310 owners out there I sure could use a little love.

Sounds like factory prop

I believe that is the prop that is standard. Could be it was made in 1990 and it took them 15 years to put on a boat - stranger things have happened. You should be able to find a replacement prop just about anywhere. Have you had a prop shop look at it? You did not state where you were, but I know there is one in Annapolis.

I have a 2005 Catalina 310 which I purchased new. The prop that came standard on my boat is a 2 blade.

Art, What is the size of your 2 blade? I am the second owner, and my boat has a three blade 15RH19 prop. I am considering a martec folding two blade. Anyone know the equivalent size?

2 Blade Factory Standard Prop

The factory offered a 3 blade crusing prop as an option.
