I’ve read that old wet suits can be cut up into nice gaskets

I’ve also made molds into which I have pored goop to make gaskets. That worked very well.

Yeah, neoprene sheet one side adhesive, 1/16" thick make good gaskets. My portlights are Vetus. They are in GB and getting gaskets is out of the question cost wise. So... one can make their own.

@Mhkent, the reason we are offering alternatives is simple. A lot of portlights were manufactured by a few companies and then rebranded. This is a common practice. But for older boats, there may be no markings as to who. Sometimes one can do a search just on portlights, look at the images, then find one that is really (if not exactly) close to yours. Also, their gaskets can be very expensive. Like printers and ink. Printers are somewhat cheap but you will have to mortgage your house to get ink. LOL
