Help Identify my Boat

I thought I'd try another article with a different title that really lets you all know what I want, I.E.;Does anyone have any information on the slanted deck design of the Hunter 33? Her Hull identification # is HUN60042M78B-33. Was it an option at purchase or have I aquired a custom unit? I've just been wondering becase my hunter looks nothing like any other I've seen.Ben

Early

Your 33 is an early production boat. I'm not certain of the exact date but from what I've been able to garner the deck/cabin top design were changed somewhere around 1979. Mine, an '83 and probably the last 33 built, has the squared cabin roof design, which provides more head room forward. Based on the early brochures I have the interior layouts were the same although materials appear to be different. There are slight dfferences in the cockpit, but not so much as you'd realy notice.From what I've seen, when it comes to mold related items, (hulls and decks) Hunter don't do custom!

HUN32121A000HUN - Hunter321 - It's a 320, 1st mold21 - 21st one builtA - January, B, February, etc000 - Last three digits of the year builtI don't know how they used to do them, but that's the explanation I got at the factory for ours.
