Excuse the post but I thought this would be the best place to find out about marine heads.
I have a 1955 Airstream that has a porcelain and bronze marine toilet. Don't know if it was a factory option or an aftermarket installation. Not a bad idea really, no gravity needed and the holding tank is in the heated portion of the trailer for those who want to travel in freezing conditions. The head appears to be modified to only flush because there is a pressurized water supply to fill the bowl.
Anyway there are no manufacturers marks and I want to use it in the restored trailer, I think it is a beautiful piece of work!
I will need to rebuild I'm sure but it does work!
I will have to replace the holding tank, its galvanized
I don't know how it is vented.
Any help is appreciated
