Help for a marine head in a land yacht

Excuse the post but I thought this would be the best place to find out about marine heads.
I have a 1955 Airstream that has a porcelain and bronze marine toilet. Don't know if it was a factory option or an aftermarket installation. Not a bad idea really, no gravity needed and the holding tank is in the heated portion of the trailer for those who want to travel in freezing conditions. The head appears to be modified to only flush because there is a pressurized water supply to fill the bowl.
Anyway there are no manufacturers marks and I want to use it in the restored trailer, I think it is a beautiful piece of work!
I will need to rebuild I'm sure but it does work!
I will have to replace the holding tank, its galvanized
I don't know how it is vented.
Any help is appreciated

According to an Airstream Forum the toilet units used during the 50s and 60s were Townsen and Thetford. Your marine unit was probably installed at a latter time. The Travelette Sewerage System pertains to the holding tank and fixtures and it seems to be original. A marine head unit with no "brand" name of manufacturer markins indicates it could be custom unit designed and built from different components. As far as it's date, it could even possibly predate the unit it replaced. I have seen similar units in old Navy ships and perhaps some may have ended in salvage yards. Perhaps some old salt may chime in and provide some information. if you are going to be looking for a replacement try products from Sealand Marine which supplies both the Marine and RV market. Good luck.
