My 85 Catalina 30 has the 12 V interior lights that look like they belong on an RV- opaque white plastic. All of the covers have heat damage and are crumbling and need to be replaced. Catalina parts says they don't stock them and can't get them. Has anyone had the same problem and located either the OEM or a source for replacement light covers? They are approximately 5 1/2 inches square and snap on and off the light fixtures. Thanks.

Try Marine Retailers

I believe that I have seen them in catalogs within the past few years. Try Boat/US and West Marine. If you cannot get the exact same thing, you could probaly get something close. You could also try Catalina Direct www.catalinadirect.com They sell primarirly parts for the C22 and C25, but as far as lights go, they are pretty much the same. Regards, Ted

Replacing lights

We replaced all the interior lights on our 84 C30 which we purchased last fall. The lights were dingy but not damage. We ordered ours through a local ships store. They are RV lights and cost about $11 each. These were close to the original size but different hole pattern.
