Catalina 34Mark II Point Roberts
I recently saw a Catalina 35' in a marina in Titusville that had a helm seat at a height that allowed the helmsman to see over the dodger while sitting down. It was attached to the rear transom and swim ladder with plastic fittings and had fold down legs that rested on the existing transom seats which are just a couple of feet above the cockpit floor and therefore do not give a good view forward while sitting on them. I have a photograph that I can send if anyone is interested and/or knows where I can purchase one. I contacted the Catalina company and they advised it must be a custom made item as they don't stock them and had never seen one before. If you anything about this or would like to see a picture, please email me at iamjonathan620@gmail.com.

Thanks,

Hi,
It does look like a custom made. Looking at the fittings used for the assembly.
If it was manufactured, good chance it would have been a welded assembly.
Well done too

On our 320 I removed the center section of the factory seat and had full length legs that extend to the deck. It's one of the best seats in the cockpit now. It's a little tight between the wheel and seat, 14 inches if I recall correctly. You will need to make some measurements cause they are all a little different.
