Here We Go
See how many revolutions there in your wheel from port stop to starboard stop and split the difference, ie: three turns from stop to stop, back up 1 and 1/2 turns and mark that at the top of your wheel and then lock or tie the wheel. Check the position of your rudder, it it's not dead center of the transom, you've got some adjusting to to. Mine has turnbuckles on the rudder cables for the adjustment, It would be hard to say how yours is set up. The rudder will have to be adjusted to center by manipulation of the cables, whatever that takes, but it's all in the cables. If you haven't been under there yet, it will probably be pretty obvious when you get get a look at it. It's probably going to be a tight squeeze and a little cumbersom. Luck!
