Helm minor vibration

I have a 1989 C-30 #5355
Last year was my first season with this boat and love it! (previous boats C-27, Carver 28)
Anyway we had a very bad storm pass through Noank last year and I failed to secure the helm.
Although I only ran the boat for a month I don't recall feeling a (minor) vibration on the helm under power.
Under sail non. Are there any belts I could check, tighten etc.?
