I will be posting photos in the next couple of weeks. The Albin
Cumulus 28 is a sloop rigged design with a 7/8 fractional rig. It has
very modern lines without the open stern common today. It sleeps 4 (3
comfortably). It seems quite beamy for its length, at least to me. It
also is quite heavilly built for its size. It has a conventional
tiller, blade rudder set-up. I do not have the technical data handy,
but it has a larger than usual mainsail for a boat this size. Our
boat is a 1982 model, and I beleive production was ended in 85' or so.
It is very populay in scandanavia, I believe all Albins are
designed over there. I found a bunch of Danish and Sweedish sites
about the model which I had my Boss translate for me. It is suppossed
to be in the 60's up here in Boston tommorow, so I think it is boat
maintence time.
Have a great weekend all.
