I have a new to me 1977 hunter 25 :) I'm looking for specs, manuals, information. It's in the water and won't be pulled until late fall so I don't even know what the keel looks like. LOL I had help in learning to tune the rigging last weekend and I'm hoping to take it out tomorrow for the first time :) Just saying hello and giving fair warning of pending questions :)

Welcome aboard. And to the Cherubini club. The H25 guru is none other than John Cherubini II. He has been working on his for years and is most helpful with H25 issues. The manual is here in "Hunter Owners Modifications" but I am having trouble locating it right now. I will post it here if I locate it.

There is some H25 info here: http://hunter.sailboatowners.com/images/kb/pdf/302.pdf , but still not the manual I was trying to find.

Thank you all! So I was looking at the specs that Ed posted. PO claims the boat has 5' draft. I was skeptical but I took his word. The boats in the water. I haven't anchored and dove it yet. Will be pulled in the fall. It will be so much to my advantage that it's really 3'-11" as I'm sailing on the Potomac/lower Chesapeake.

I think that there were 2 models. I had a 25 and I believe that it was 3'11". Just remember that these measurments are usually on a dry hull. (no water/fuel/supplies/boaters junk etc).

OK but taking into account that it's got a 10 maybe 15 gallon water bladder and an out board. There's not much weight there. Cooler with food and beverages that's maybe 50lbs if your going for the weekend. If I add a lot of chain perhaps it'll weigh me down further. But an entire foot?
