I was out yesterday in near gale conditions (gusting to 35 kts.) with
double reefed main and maybe 70% jib (roller) showing. It felt like i
was still overpowered.

What configurations have others found useful in higher wind conditions?

Hi Victor

In 35 kts I would have triple-reefed main and about 25% of foresail
showing. No wonder you felt over-powered with all theat foresail
showing!

Thanks, Steve, for the advice. I'll need to have another set of
reef points put in the main. I found some measurements in the
older message section.
