I did a very stupid thing in not labeling the hoses when I removed them from my 3" heat Exchanger. I removed it to clean it out and get better access to the Hurth Transmission for servicing. I cleaned it up, painted and brought all new hoses. Now it is time to re-install and I can's recall where the hoses get connected. It is an 89 cat 30, with Universal 25XP Engine. Standard Hot Water Heater next to the Fuel Tank Does anybody have a good diagram or even better picture they could share. Everything is ready to go back. Chief, the attached picture is from the www.marinedieseldirect.com website. You should be able to make out the hoses on the freshwater (coolant) side in the picture. The raw water inlet to the HX from the pump goes to the bottom on the starboard side of the HX.

Spent the entire day at the boat and was able to figure it out. I had the old hoses and their bend sort of gave it away. Finished the fuel system and just want out of time to get it running. Did manage to pull the shrink wrap off. Making progress. The next part is the most fun, from memory. That is putting back the fresh antifreeze and the air lock that I know is going to occur.
