The Catalina 22 NSA has a very strong cruising organization where cruises are organized every year for the Great Lakes; North Florida; Ky. Lake; Chesapeakeke Bay, etc. Last year we actually lead the KY Lake cruise (on our newly purchased Hunter 26. Question - does cruising activity like this exist within the Hunter community? I know this question is probably directed to the 26/260 and smaller boats. What's prompting this question is the possibliity of a late July or early August repeat cruise on Ky Lake; this time opening it up to Hunters *5 as well as Catalinas. Just asking. Ky Lake Cruise

Tom, would like to join you guys this year. Sounds like it would be fun to show off the H26's to the Cat's. Paul H S/V Linda Belle 95 H26

Ky Lake Cruise

Paul, By all means. My e-mail address is: tgrass832@aol.com If you could send me yours I'll add you to my mailing list. Basically last year we (7 Catalina 22's and my H-26) did GTB to Duncan Bay to Kenlake Marina and back. We sailed about 100 miles and had a great time (we had three young kids on the cruise (ages 12, 11 and 8) - made it even more fun. This year I'm looking at starting at Kenlake - sailing south to around Paris Island State Park, Tennessee - probably further south. We would have the Marina slips for a portion of the week - but we would anchor out a lot as well. Timing - we're looking at late July or early August. Again - send me an e-mail and I'll keep you informed as this cruise firms up. Regards, Tom Grass Grasshopper II H-26 #174
