Can anyone tell me what a standard size headsail would measure for a 1982 22 Hunter? I want something less than a 110 genoa.

i am awaiting a reply to your question Dan...
my 81 hunter22 is overpowered with the 110,i would like to carry a full main with a smaller jib before i need to reef....

As Hugh Straub mentioned, most sailmakers have books on the various boats, with rig deminsions to include lengths, size of wire and so forth which is pretty much universal. Suggest that listen to Hugh Straub. Thank you Hugh.
However, you would be delightfully surprised as this site's sales I believe has a sail loft and would have all those measurements. Phil Herring and company would be pleased to help you with that and they do give good advice.
