I am thinking about installing a jib furler for our 26.5 this spring. Does anyone have any recommendations on a brand and model?

Harken

I have a MKIII on my H27_75-84. It's been a reliable rig. Occasionally I get a snag on my spin halyard. Easy to clear and not the furler's fault. The Harken is pricey, but well worth it if you have the money. Maintainence is minimal, regular rinsing and McLube is about it. David s/v kupono

CDI, Simple and Cheap

About half the price of other makes and works fine. Been on my 26.5 for 8 years. One of the best improvements you can make, especially if you're into sailing solo. Make sure you follow the directions for length of forestay. Review the installation manual available at website. p.s. Does anyone know how many 26.5 's were made?

CDI

CDI is a good choice. I have had their units on three previous boats. I am about to install the units on two customer boats. I asked the rigger who is going to supply them, why arn't they more popular as they require no maintenance. He replied, " they are too simple and inexpensive and sailors think rigging has to be complicated and expensive."
