As a point of my inquiring mind, I have a 82 H30 I purchased last October. The factory specs indicate it has 6'4" headroom as do all the 74 thru 83 H30's. I am 6'2" and without shoes I just touch the cabin top. Does anyone know were the measurement is taken?? The only place I know where I can get at least 6'4" headroom is if I stand in the bilge. If anyone knows where this measurement is taken please let me know. Thanks.

...is taken by a person 6'4" tall standing at the base of the companion ladder while the hatch is open.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. You'll notice the same guy, I'll call "Bob", made the measurements for all the boats from 30 to 37C. Another guy, nick-named "Shorty" made the measurements for all the smaller boats. And of course, a basketball-player-friend of the company made the measurements for the boats above 37C. Maybe they measured the berth lengths instead of vertical space?
