Headliner leak from sliding companionway hatch cover

Does anybody have pictures of what's under the C310 sliding companionway hatch cover if you remove the cabin top panel covering the pocket? (There is one on the C34 forum here: https://www.catalina36.org/forum/technical-discussion/companionway-hatch-hood-damage). I have a headliner leak that drips water from the overhead light above the sink whenever water gets onto the top of the sliding hatch cover. From the C34 picture it looks like the only way that could lead to a leak would be if there was a hole or some other damage in the pocket itself. Has anybody else experienced this?

Weller,

I found a single drip from the headliner just forward of the slider.....port side close to dinette table...and found it to be from a crack in the gelcoat just above. Lifecaulked it for now but will probably need to make permanent repairs soon. somehow a small hole (pinhole size...thought it was a dirt spot in one of those little indentations in the ceiling) developed inside. Check above the drip for cracks.
