When my holding tank is near full and I flush Waste comes out
of the vent. What can I do to prevent this?

Apparently you don't have any way of knowing when your tank is NEAR full and when it's so full it's overflowing (which is what's happening). So the solution to your problem is:

1. Install a tank indicator that actually lets you know how much is in the tank at any given time. I recommend this one: Profile Tank Monitors

2. Install it and then pay attention to it and pump out BEFORE the tank overflows out the vent! The vent is NOT an overflow...the only thing that should ever pass through it is air!

So I'd also flush out the vent line if I were you...'cuz you don't even want to know what a blocked tank vent can cause! But if you're determined to find out, search the Headmistress forum for "tank vent."
