I have doyle headsail with adjustable leach and foot ropes. Ive sailed the boat for 7 years and played with the adjustments but never got it quite rite. Can some one give me some pointers?

Tim, after spending years reading sail trim books, many were compendiums from SAIL magazine, I found the very best (and I rarely use that word) sail trim guide is Don Guilltte's available right here on this forum.

When it comes to individual sail shape, if it looks right, it usualy is. If you have a hooked leech (or leach) then ease a line to make it look good.

Lowers streaming and uppers not - move your sheet fairleads forward.

Although my sails have all the adjustments, I have never used them. Fairlead position and sheet tension are the keys for my genny.
