Hunter H260 Gull Lake
My headsail was destroyed in a wind storm last year and I have a sail locally that I could buy. I am just not sure if it will fit on my H260. I'm away from the boat so I cannot get any measurements. Could someone confirm for me if it would fit. Much appreciated.

Luff 29.5ft
Foot 9.88ft
Leech: 27.8ft

Thanks,

You should be able to get the I, J, P & E measurements under the boat information for the Hunter 260 which is the same as the 26 waterballast

The published "I" is 29.16 and the "J" 9.5ft, so by formula, the max forestay length is 30.67. Do you have furling? It will be close, most furlers take up about 15 inches off of that 30.67. If you're talking about a hanked sail that should work fine.

dave groshong. Thank you for adding that tidbit and I hope Shanker will work with you for his sail. I have heard some good things about the sailwork you all do.

P.S. I was given some moonshine this past weekend. Am I talking about watching the moon shine or something else? I will never tell but with my nickname, go figure. I use to make it and even once took it to a dealer meeting. Didn't tell anyone which they all thought it was a good peach brandy. When nearly everything was gone, they asked where I bought it from and I said it was made in the woods behind my shop with real copper. You should have seen their faces. However, some asked for some and I gave it to them but never accepted any monies. Tat is a no no.
