I'm surprised at the cost for a new head pump, mount and reinstallation. Have other owners spent more than $750 on such work?

What kind of head do you have, manual or electric, which pump, etc. It sounds like a chunk of change but could be in line. A manual Jabsco head pump assembly is about $90 plus and takes about 30 minutes to install.
