I just bought a 1987 Catalina 27 and knew that there was some leakage in the head...looked like fresh water. this afternoon, I shut both thru hull seacocks, thinking that this would eliminate the freshwater overflow of the bowl. when I returned tonight, the bowl was full, but full of orange guck...is the holding tank backing up? Suggestions please. Thank you. tomO.
